‘Cross Pollination’

Green Space, located at 37-24 24th Street in Long Island City, will hold its monthly event “Cross Pollination” from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 28.
Artists, dancers, musicians and viewers are invited to attend. Artists are able to sketch dancers as they improvise.

Tribute to Painter José Bastidas

The Queens Museum of Art, located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, will hold a tribute to painter José Bastidas from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 29.
Bastidas has exhibited his works throughout Latin America and in other countries, including Switzerland and Egypt. He is also active in doing fundraising to help children in Ecuador.

St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble

St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble will perform at Flushing Town Hall, located at 137-35 Northern Boulevard, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 4.
Although the concert is free, non-perishable food items are being collected to benefit City Harvest. People are asked to drop off donations at Flushing Town Hall prior to the performance.
