Luxury housing at affordable prices

A modern new 346-unit rental building, Moda, in Jamaica held its grand opening on Thursday, June 24. Developed by the Dermont Company, the building is made up of one and two bedroom apartments and has the feel of a luxury building in Manhattan. Amenities include a gym, childcare center and full concierge service. The building is LEED certified and offers some affordable housing.

Celebrants, including Borough President Helen Marshall, along with members of Dermont Company, Community Board 12, FX Fowle Architects, Bovis Lend Lease and Bank of America all took part in the revelry on Moda’s open air roof deck.
