It has now becoming a dismal end to season for the Mets and us fans. The Mets under manager Jerry Manuel are now 17 1/2 games out of first place in the NL East.
I believe we need to change managers and Jerry Manuel needs to go!
A name that has been brought up in the media is ex-Yankee manager and soon to be ex-LA Dodger manager Joe Torre.
Torre started with the Mets as a new manager in 77-81 and has a history with the team. Torre has had 2,319 wins in 29 years as a major league manager.
I hope Fred Wilpon can convince Torre to return to the Mets – we need him.
