A man was arrested after allegedly hitting a pedestrian in Forest Hills and fleeing the scene of the crime, according to the NYPD.
Avraham Mullokandov, 17, of 61-35 98th St., was headed south on 108th Street at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday when he allegedly struck a 31-year-old man with his 2010 Nissan Rogue as the man was crossing the intersection at 63rd Road and 108th Street, according to police.
Mullokandov allegedly then fled the scene, but was eventually caught and arrested, police said.
Mullokandov is being charged with vehicular assault, leaving the scene of an accident and license restriction violation.
After Mullokandov allegedly fled the scene, the victim was also struck by a 1998 Nissan Maxima, which did remain at the scene.
Emergency responders brought the victim to New York Hospital Queens in Flushing, where he was listed in critical condition as of Sunday morning.
The Wall Street Journal identified the victim as Dominik Winnik.
