4 Long Island City deli robbers sought by cops

LONG ISLAND CITY — The NYPD was looking for help from the public in finding and apprehending four young men wanted for a robbing a deli at 32-02 36th Ave. at about 10:20 p.m. Nov. 20.

The four suspects entered the store and got into a dispute with a worker about trying to purchase beer, according to police.

The first suspect, described as a white male, 18 years old, 5 feet 8 inches and wearing black jeans, a black sweatshirt and mustard yellow sneakers, pulled out a knife, went behind the counter and removed money from the register, before fleeing with the other suspects on foot, police said.

The other three suspects are all described as 18-year-old white males. One is 5 feet 8 inches and wore a Yankees hat with a sticker on the brim, blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers with red tips; another is 5 feet 10 inches and wore a black baseball hat with the letter A on the front and a sticker on the brim, a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers; and the fourth suspect is 5 feet 10 inches and wore a black hat with a sticker on the brim, black hooded jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers, according to police.
