I just can’t figure out what this opposition to being scanned and searched at airports is all about.
All it will take is one plane to go down and everyone will say, “what happened, why wasn’t that person scanned or patted down?” People have short memories.
Do you remember last Christmas when that plane going to Detroit was almost attacked by the Christmas Day bomber? Have people forgotten 9/11?
I would rather have to leave my house a little early for a flight then be another statistic in the terrorist column. Let’s be realistic, all bets are off after 9/11. This is a different world we live in. I would rather be inconvenienced then not reach my destination at all.
