Remembering back many years, I recall generally, not being the greatest student in our public school system. I worked at a variety of jobs after graduating from college, but most were unsatisfactory to me.
There are some fortunate young men and women who possess particular talents in a “given field,” and decide to pursue positions related to their talents.
Many more do not find jobs that really please them, but pragmatically, they must work to provide themselves with shelter, food, and all the other very basic necessities of life.
Now, in my “later years,” I do believe that I have finally “zeroed in” to what I like to do best. Although, I may appear “ancient” to some, I now am enjoying both reading and writing, and have managed to have some of my thoughts published.
