St. John’s University said it has not given permission for a Citi Field bar to use its name in promoting a College Night at the establishment.

A flier on the website for McFadden’s at Citi Field advertises a College Night and notes it provides free shuttles “to local college students from 170th [Street] & Goethals [Avenue] beginning at 9 p.m. until 2:30 a.m.”

The cross street is one of the entrances to St. John’s Jamaica Estates campus.

McFadden’s could not be reached for comment.

St. John’s spokesman Dominic Scianna said in a statement that the university has no relationship with McFadden’s and that the school is weighing its legal options.

“St. John’s University does not, nor would we ever, partner with a bar or establishment that promotes drinking and provides a bus service for our students,” he said. “The university has had ongoing communication with the NYPD on this matter and we will continue to monitor the situation.”

McFadden’s, which has another establishment in Manhattan, displays a photo album on its Citi Field website named “9.13 to 9.19 and St. John’s Night.”
