In my book Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the Sanitation Department and the MTA failed the people of this great city of ours. I live in Glen Oaks Village and many of our streets were forgotten. In the storm of ‘06 which had more snow, the streets were better shoveled. This time the city knew in advance and yet lives were put in jeopardy.
The MTA was no better and left many of us without proper transportation. I think heads ought to roll after this disaster. We the people want answers and promises that the city will be better prepared next time.
