Cabbie shooter caught

Shawn Peace, wanted for the shooting of livery cab driver Trevor Bell and a string of other robberies, was taken into custody in Buffalo by the NYPD Violent Felony Squad. He was taken into custody without incident.
Charges against him are pending.
Bell, 53, was shot multiple times in the legs and neck before he was robbed of $100 on Friday, December 3 at the corner of 122nd Street and Sutter Avenue. The suspect was caught on tape by a camera Bell kept on his dashboard.
