Police search for serial robber in Queens

QUEENS — Police have asked for the public’s help in identifying and locating the whereabouts of a man wanted in connection with 10 robberies in the 109th, 110th and 112th precincts.

In all 10 incidents, the suspect approached the victims and used physical force to assault them and take their property, police said.

In some of the incidents, the suspect punched the victims, all women, before taking their property, police said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 30 and 35 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build and curly black hair and wearing a black workout jacket with two red stripes on the front, police said.

The first robbery occurred Jan. 2 at 149th Place and Sanford Avenue in Flushing and the last occurred Jan. 16 at Oak Avenue and 161st Street in Flushing, police said.
