Woman has pocketbook stolen, punched: Cops

REGO PARK — A man attacked a 66-year-old woman and stole her pocketbook on Saunders Street Jan. 24, according to police.

The victim was near 64th Avenue at about 5:15 p.m. when the suspect approached her from behind and punched her before grabbing her purse and fleeing toward 65th Avenue, police said.
