Well, here it is — 2011 and the state of the U.S. economy still is not promising. While unemployment did drop slightly and nearly 200,000 new jobs were created, there are still too many Americans who continue to be out of work and are losing their homes and health-care coverage.
The president says things are beginning to improve, but they are not improving fast enough. The federal government needs to work hard to create jobs and stimulate our economy. With the 2012 presidential elections more than a year and a half away, the American people will show their dissatisfaction with this president and his administration when they go to the polls to vote at that time.
President Barack Obama needs to focus on job creation, not photo ops. Remember: Actions speak louder than political rhetoric.
