The police are seeking the public’s help in regards to religious articles that were stolen from an Elmhurst church.
The grand larceny occurred at St. Bartholomew Church where two chalices, a ciborium and a trunk were stolen between 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 26 and 10 a.m. Sunday, February 27.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP557.
