A car was hijacked in Queens with a nine-year-old boy still inside, according to the New York Post.
When the boy’s father left the car idling 106th Street near the Van Wyck Expressway to run into a store a thief hopped in and sped off according to the Post.
The father quickly called his cell phone which was surprisingly picked up by the thief. The phone was then handed to the boy who gave his father his location and assured him that he was okay, the Post reported.
The car was found with the boy on South Conduit Boulevard near 231st Street. The boy was unharmed, the Post’s report said.
