Cops search for robber of bank in Maspeth

MASPETH — The NYPD has asked the public to help in locating and identifying an individual wanted in a bank robbery that occurred within the confines of the 104th Precinct.

According to the police, on April 12 just after 9 a.m., a man entered the Cross County Federal Savings bank, at 60-20 Fresh Pond Road, and passed a note to the teller demanding cash. The teller complied, and the man fled with an undetermined amount of money. There were no weapons or injuries, said the police.

The suspect is described as a 35-year old white male who is 5-foot-7 with a husky build. He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans, sunglasses and gloves, said police.
