An intern working for The Courier Sun was asked to do a story on traffic patterns on a block in Ozone Park. She viewed a clip from New York 1 on the same issue and assumed – wrongly so – that she could use the on-air quotes in her report without crediting to the New York 1 reporter or the station. The piece was published; the error was brought to our intention and we immediately removed it from our web site.
