Help replace lost government funding

The South Queens Boys & Girls Club (SQBGC) needs your help to help the youth.

Although they have been successful in raising capital dollars for a new $10 million facility, the economic reality for the SQBGC and all not-for-profits is very grim, they say.

The SQBGC has lost major government funding and is asking the community to help out. At risk are vital programs to the community, including important educational support such as tutoring and homework help.

In addition to educational programs, they also specialize in youth development, sports, technology and social recreation programs.

Kids who attend Boys & Girls Clubs are more likely to graduate from high school and pursue higher education opportunities.

Any donation – $25, $50 or $100 – would be greatly appreciated by the SQBGC. Please send your tax deductible donations to the Club at 110-04 Atlantic Avenue, Richmond Hill, NY 11419 or donate online at www.sqbgc.net.
