Kites soar over LIC

Both kids and adults were treated to flights of fancy at the annual kite workshop sponsored by Socrates Sculpture Park and the Noguchi Museum in Long Island City on Saturday, April 30. Armed with recycled materials and the help of volunteers, attendees constructed and flew their kites high over Socrates Sculpture Park on a perfectly windy L.I.C. afternoon.
