Following a high-speed police chase, a tour bus driver whose license has been suspended 16 times was arrested in Queens on Sunday, the Daily News is reporting.
After going through a stop sign, Anthony Judd, 48, of Jamaica, was flagged to a checkpoint, but instead fled through an emergency exit ramp, the report said.
After blowing through another stop sign, a Bridge and Tunnel sergeant stood in the road ordering the bus to stop, only to have to leap out of the way to avoid the barreling bus.
The bus was finally pulled over after a pursuit from multiple police cars at 49th Street and Skillman Avenue.
The driver, who no longer has a license to drive, has been charged with attempted vehicular assault, fleeing an officer, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, the Daily News reported. (Click here to read the full report)
