A 9-year-old Flushing girl who had been missing since Thursday night was found Friday and reunited with her family, according to police.
The girl, Lucy Lin, who had been last seen at 11 p.m. Thursday at 44-15 Colden St., was located and returned home Friday, police announced in a statement at 10:44 p.m. that evening.
Her parents were both out of town at the time of her disappearance, according to a source familiar with the investigation, and a step-parent who was watching over her reported that she did not return home after visiting a friend Thursday evening.
Lin also never showed up Friday at P.S. 24, where she is a student, another source familiar with the investigation said.
