Autism Fundraiser Soiree
Play some foosball, ping pong and pool and help out a good cause.
Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC) is hosting a soiree fundraiser on June 8 from 7-10 p.m. at the Slate Lounge on West 21st Street.
A casual affair, rather than a stuffy sit-down dinner, the soiree will feature an open bar, buffet, along with games to partake in.
The event will raise money for the services QSAC provides for persons with autism, ranging from preschool programs to residential group homes.
For tickets and information visit www.qsac.com/2011.
Prices at the pump decline
Gas prices declined almost twenty cents since the first week of May, coming in this morning at $4.109, continuing the weeks-long trend of falling prices.
Prices have fallen four cents since last week’s price of $4.149. A month ago a gallon at the pump cost drivers $4.291.
While the cost has been slowly coming down, drivers are still paying over one dollar more than they were at this time last year.
The average gas price nationally is $3.771, down a little over a cent from last week.
