Gas prices fall below $4 in the city
Gas prices have snuck below the four dollar for the first time in months.
Prices at the pump are down five cents in the past week and over 16 cents since the beginning of the month, according to AAA. President Barack Obama announced last week plans to release 60 million barrels from oil reserves with the goal of bringing gas prices down for the summer driving season.
Drivers are still paying more than a dollar more per gallon than they were at this time last year.
Nationally, gas prices have fell more than eight cents in the past week to $3.565.
