AUBURNDALE — A College Point man has been arrested and charged in connection with allegedly unlawfully entering an Auburndale home and stealing an envelope full of money, according to the criminal complaint.
A man observed Jack Carranza, 26, of 23-42 126th St., in his 191st Street home at about 4:40 a.m. June 16, according to the complaint.
When the man approached Carranza, Carranza allegedly fled the home, the complaint said, after which point the victim discovered that an envelope full of cash was missing from the premises.
Carranza was arraigned June 22 in Queens Criminal Court and released on his own recognizance, according to the Queens DA, and was ordered to return to court Sept. 12.
