The 104th Precinct will sponsor a blood drive at the station house Aug. 31 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Police are encouraging residents from areas including Ridgewood, Middle Village, Maspeth and Glendale to come out to the precinct to give blood.
The minimum age to give blood is 16 and the maximum is 76.
Residents also must weigh at least 110 pounds and must not have been tattooed in the last 12 months.
Police suggested eating and drinking well before arriving to donate.
The station house is at 64-02 Catalpa Ave.
