Gas prices dip slightly
Gas prices dipped slightly this week after a month on the rise, but are still over 10 cents higher than drivers were paying in July.
Prices at the pump came in at $4.08 on Monday, August 8, just over 11 cents more than drivers were paying a month ago.
At this time last year, a gallon of gas cost just $2.972.
The national average is $3.663 – four cents lower than a week ago.
