29th Annual Queens County Fair
The 29th Annual Queens County Fair will take place this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Queens County Farm Museum.
The Fair will have food, hayrides, livestock, arts & crafts, pie eating contests and produce competitions. Tickets are $8 for adults; $5 for children.

CWNY 3rd Annual Walk
On Saturday, September 17 at 10 a.m. Center for the Women of New York will be holding their third annual walk to support the organizations programs.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Fort Totten in Bayside. You could also register through their web site, https://cwny.org/. There is a $15 donation.
The walk will depart from Fort Totten at 10 a.m. and proceed to the Joe Michaels Mile. There will be a closing ceremony at 11 a.m. followed by a light lunch.
The York College Blue Notes Auditions
The York College Blue Notes auditions for interested New York City public high school musicians will be held this Saturday at 9 a.m. in the York College Performing Arts Center.
This is a 2-credit college-level course. All chairs welcome (alto/tenor/bari/trumpet/trombone/piano/bass/drums). Prepare a solo piece and be ready to sight read. If you have any questions, send e-mail tzlabinger@york.cuny.edu
