Woman threatens man with machete: Brown

CAMBRIA HEIGHTS — A woman was due in court Nov. 30 after allegedly brandishing a machete and some colorful language in Cambria Heights last week, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

At about 10 p.m. Oct. 9, Adelaide Charles allegedly accosted a man in front of his home on 231st Street, grabbing him by his shirt, ripping an earring from his ear and scratching him across his chest and neck, according to a criminal complaint.

While the victim stood outside with another man, Charles went inside her home and returned with a machete.

“I’m going to cut your f—ing heads off. I’m going to kill you all,” she said, according to the complaint.

Charles was charged with third-degree assault, two counts of second-degree menacing, criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree harassment, the complaint said.
