One person was injured after a pair of cars collided on a Rego Park street on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 8, it was reported. According to Fire Department sources, the crash occurred at around 3:10 p.m. in the vicinity of 65th Road and Fitchett Street. Members of Engine Co. 319, Ladder Co. 151, the 112th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. The injured civilian was brought to a local hospital for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, Fire Department sources said.
