During a ceremony the Kupferberg Holocaust Center Queensborough Community College Bayside last Tuesday, Jan. Assemblyman Rory inpresented to students who have documentedatLancman at awards the stories of local survivors of the genocide committed3, by the Nazis during World War II. As noted, each student who participated in the Holocaust awareness program interviewed a specific survivor in order to pass down their story to future generations. Shown with Lancman and other guests at the event were a number of the honored students, including (in alphabetical order) Katherine Avalos, David Coba, Danielle Del Priore, Akeem Dixon, Richard Flores, Jasmine Fludd, Antoinette Malcolm, Mauricio Moreno, Joshua Oladiti, Sylvia Uzcha and Yi Qiang Wang.
