Two people were injured after a one-alarm fire ripped through a Corona home last Saturday night, Feb. 4, Fire Department sources said. The blaze reportedly broke out at around 8 p.m. at a home on 45th Avenue near 108th Street. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 289, 324, 316, 307 and 287; Ladder companies 138, 136, 154 and 129; Squad Co. 288; Rescue 4 and Battalions 46 and 52-under the direction of Division 14-along with the 110th Precinct and EMS units. The victims were brought to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries, which were not considered to be lifethreatening. Three hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, said an FDNY source.
