STEVEN O’MALLEY, formerly of Forest Hills, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, at the age of 52. He was the beloved brother of Linda Doherty and friend and adopted uncle to many both near and far. Steve was a wonderful and loving man who touched so many lives with his warmth, wit, and humor, whose passing creates a void that will never be filled. Those who were touched by Steve understand that while his life was short, the quality of his existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which he lived and that his memory is forever etched in our hearts. Awake was held on Sunday, February 12, and Monday, February 13, at Fred H. McGrath & Son, Inc., Funeral Home, 20 Cedar St., Bronxville, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, February 14, at Church of St. Joseph’s, Bronxville, followed by interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on- Hudson.

VINCENZO D’ANGELO died on Monday, February 13, at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of Santa D’Angelo, cherished son of Angela and the late Santo, loving father of Santo D’Angelo and Salvatore D’Angelo, father-in-law of Gandolfa and Daniela, cherished grandfather of Vincenzo, Sandra, Maria Michelle, Vincenzo, Salvatore and Olivia, great-grandfather of Michael Anthony and dear brother of Giuseppe, Gandolfo, Salvatore, Alfredo, Paolina, Santa, Maria, Rita and Teresa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered today, Thursday, February 16, at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Ridgewood, followed by entombment at St. John Cemetery Resurrection Mausoleum, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

CARMEN SMITH of Ridgewood died on Friday, February 10, at the age of 59. A native of Queens, she was the beloved wife of Charles G. Smith Jr., loving daughter of Josef and Else Kern and dear brother of Heumuth Hader. AMass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery, Ridgewood, under the direction of George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale.

ELIZABETH MISERENDINO died on Sunday, February 12, at the age of 95. She was the wife of the late Charles Miserendino, loving mother of Mary Ann Sarli and Rita Gangi, mother-in-law of Joe, cherished grandmother of Jeffrey, Robert, Joseph and Janine, great-grandmother of Amanda, Joseph, Gianna, Charlie, Claudia, Jeffrey, Christopher, Olivia, Michael and Robert and dear sister of Antoinette Sforzo. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, February 15, at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

SPIRO KARAMUZE died on Wednesday, February 8, at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband of Lula Karamuze, loving father of Christopher Karamuze and Philip Karamuze, stepfather of George Gavares, cherished grandfather of Vincent, Kelly and Christina and dear brother of Demetri and Bassili. A Divine Liturgy was offered on Friday, February 10, at SS. Constantine and Helen Orthodox Church, Brooklyn, followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

STEVE DANISIEWICZ died on Tuesday, February 7, at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor Danisiewicz, loving father of Susan Rubino and the late Greg, father in-law of Joe and cherished grandfather of Daniel, Matthew and Joseph. He was also a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, February 11, at St. Margaret Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

LINDA A. DAOUD of Corona died on Saturday, February 4, at the age of 81. A native of Cairo, Egypt, she was the wife of the late Alphonse and devoted mother of Viola Laurice. Services were offered at St. Mary’s and St. Antonio’s Coptic Orthodox Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery, Ridgewood, under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.

JOSIF LACKU of Ridgewood died on Friday, February 3, at the age of 62. A native of Yugoslavia, he was the father of Emil Lacku and dear brother of Aurel Lacku. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, by Fr. Djokan Milsovic, followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village.

MARIANNA GRAMMATICO of Ridgewood died on Friday, February 3, at the age of 90. A native of Sicily, Italy, she was the devoted mother of Joseph Grammatico. BERTHA CHEN of Ridgewood died on Wednesday, February 8, at the age of 86. A native of Freeland, Pa., she was the devoted mother of Phyllis M. Lupo-Ladowitz. EDWARD FELTMAN of Ridgewood died on Wednesday, February 8, at the age of 77. A native of Brooklyn, he was the beloved husband of Elfriede Schick, devoted father of Lucie Viera and Dean Edward Feltman, son of the late William Feltman and Carrie Lanzer, dear grandfather of Keith and Craig and loving greatgrandfather of Frankie and Craig Jr. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
