Doing their part to help raise funds for the completion of the National September 11 Memorial in Lower Manhattan, the students of I.S. 93 in Ridgewood collected over $400 in pennies during their recent harvest campaign. As noted, students, parents and staff contributed to the collection, with some of the pupils designing their own collection boxes made from shoeboxes, milk cartons and coffee cans decorated in patriotic colors.
