Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer held a community event last Saturday honoring five women who either work or live in the 26th District.
This was his second annual Women’s History Month Awards. The winners were:
- Jean Clancy, Co-Owner, Claret Wine Bar
- Patrice Lee, Owner, April Glass
- Sherilyn Sabba, Editor, Woodside Herald
- Moitri Savard, MD, founder of QueensWest Health and Wellness in LIC
- Ebony Young, the executive diretor of the Long Island City YMCA.
