Ridgewood man bites thumb on Bell Boulevard: DA

BAYSIDE — A Ridgewood man allegedly committed an assault of Shakespearean proportions when he bit a man’s thumb Feb. 20, according to documents from the Queens district attorney.

At around 10:14 p.m. Richard Winters, 28, of 78-16 83rd St. was inside Congas, a bar on Bell Boulevard when he bit a man on the left thumb, according to court documents.

Winters was charged with assault and harassment.
