Deadly Kitchen Blaze In Jackson Heights

A kitchen fire proved fatal at this home on 74th Street in Jackson Heights at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Apr. 2. According to FDNY sources at the scene, the home’s tenant, an elderly woman, died as a result of her apron catching fire.
