Queens Symphony Orchestra’s Top Players

The Queens Symphony Orchestra announced the winners of our prestigious 2012 Young Soloist Competition on Mar. 25 in Flushing. Violinist Ania Filochowska took first place in the senior division, followed by pianist Karl Tetzloff, and clarinet player Weixiong Wang. Honorable Mentions were given to guitarist Celil Refik Kaya, violinist Francisco Garcia-Fullana and painist Yi Li. In the junior division, pianist He Ren took first place, followed by pianist Harrison Li and cellist Isabella Palacpac. Honorable Mentions were given to pianist Evan Kauffmann and violinist Hiu Sing Fan.
