Heavy smoke poured out of the entrance to a Bushwick auto body shop after a onealarm fire ignited last Thursday morning, Apr. 26, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the blaze broke out at around 10:40 a.m. at the garage located in the vicinity of Wilson Avenue and Noll Street. Among the units that responded to the scene (listed in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 237, 218, 271 and 206; Ladder companies 124, 112 and 108; Squad Co. 252; Rescue 2 and Battalions 28 and 35-under the direction of Division 11-along with the 83rd Precinct and EMS units. There were no reported injuries. Two hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the fire under control, according to an FDNY source.
