FREDERICK C. RUFLE of Middle Village died on Wednesday, April 25, at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Decker), devoted father of Stephen and Eileen Rufle and Brian and Kathleen Rufle and proud grandfather of Kate-Lynn, Jessica and Amana. He was a member of the St. Margaret Catholic War Veterans Post 1172. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Monday, April 30, at St. Margaret Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home, 61-40 Woodhaven Blvd., Rego Park.

HENRY W. DELKER of Glendale died on Saturday, April 28, at the age of 86. A native of Brooklyn, he was the husband of the late Ruth L. (nee Herold) and devoted uncle of Janet Cordano, Jean Knowles and William Knowles. Services were offered at graveside under the direction of George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale.

EMILIA CARABALLO died on Thursday, April 26, at the age of 92. She was the wife of the late Ruben Caraballo, loving mother of Rubin Caraballo and Emilia Mikoleski, cherished grandmother of John, Nicholas, Joseph and James and dear sister of Diego Madrigal and Maria Rodriguez. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, April 28, at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, under the directrion of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

GERALDINE C. BABINO died on Monday, April 23, at the age of 78. She was the wife of the late Alfred, loving mother of Adriana Babino and Maria Babino Moeller and chersihed grandmother of Tegan Moeller. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Thursday, April 26, at Ascension Church, Elmhurst, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

HELEN J. WINOWIECKI died on Monday, April 23, at the age of 86. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Winowiecki, loving mother of Joseph J. Winowiecki and mother-inlaw of Mary, cherished grandmother of Lisa, Joseph Jr. and the late Sally Ann and dear sister of Mary Snadecky and the late Josephine, Irene, Adam and Edward. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Friday, April 27, at St. Stanislaus Church, Maspeth, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

THERESA O’BRIEN died on Saturday, April 28, at the age of 80. She was the loving mother of Janet O’Brien, Sharon Velasquez and Geralyn Martorana, mother-in-law of John and the late Tony, cherished grandmother of David and Candy, Chris and Lori, Jenna, Jackie and Geena, great-grandmother of Janae, Davyne, Davian, Darian and Christian Antonio, wife of the late Patrick O’Brien, dear sister of Jerry and Carole Anzisi, Fran and Harvey Callahan and Rose Anne and Bruce Milne, sister-in-law of the late Dennis J. Callahan, loving step-grandmother of Marc, Scott and Jeff and step-greatgrandmother of Merric John. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, May 2, at Ascension Church, Elmhurst, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

NABIL MIKHAIL of Ridgewood died on Monday, April 30, at the age of 61. A native of Cairo, Egypt, he was the beloved husband of Emilita Sabana and devoted father of Josif Mikhail. Services were offered at St. Michael & St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church, Staten Island, followed by interment at Forest Green Park, Morganville, N.J., under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.

ELISABETH GERBER of Ridgewood died on Wednesday, April 25, at the age of 82. A native of Feketitsch, Yugoslavia, she was the beloved wife of Jakob Gerber, devoted mother of Theresa Trepel and dear sister of Helen Traglia, Jakob Eng and Kristine Senger. PERSA POD of Ridgewood died on Thursday, April 26, at the age of 79. A native of Vladimirovac, Yugoslavia, she was the devoted mother of George Pod and Maria Viku.
