Faithful Celebrate 135 Years In Woodhaven

Parishioners celebrated the 135th anniversary of Emanuel Church of Christ with a special service at the Woodhaven house of worship on Sunday, May 6. As noted, the service included an appearance by Rev. Dr. Rita Root of the United Church of Christ’s New York Conference and a visit from Assemblyman Mike Miller, who presented Emanuel Church of Christ’s pastor, Rev. Toni Waldron, with an Assembly citation.
