The Kiwanis Club of Middle Village recently held a fund-raising raffle at Maspeth Federal Savings bank’s Forest Hills branch to benefit the International Kiwanis Project Eliminate, which raises funds to provide tetanus shots to children in nations where the vaccine is not readily available. As noted, the club raised $580 through the raffle, with $500 in tickets purchased by Maspeth Federal Savings; patrons at the bank provided the remainder of the raffle ticket purchases. Shown at a check presentation are (from left to right) Middle Village Kiwanis Club President Tina DiTroia; her husband, J.P.
