Sedan Smacks Into Astoria Scaffold

Police and Fire Department units responded to an Astoria senior housing complex last Wednesday afternoon, May 30, after a vehicle collided with another car and then smacked into scaffolding, it was reported. According to sources, the crash occurred at around 5;30 p.m. at the corner of Broadway and 21st Street, adjacent to the HANAC Archbishop Iakovos Senior Housing Center. There were no serious injuries reported.
