Deviant Checks In At Elmhurst Lodge
A man who checked into an Elmhurst hotel and sexually assaulted a 20-year-old woman early on Sunday morning, July 15, remains at large as of press time, police reported.
Law enforcement agents released on Wednesday, July 18 a surveillance camera image of the suspect, who is described as a 29-year-old Hispanic male with black hair, standing at 5’7″-tall and weighing 160 lbs.
Reportedly, the assault took place at 2 a.m. Sunday morning at a lodge located on Queens Boulevard within the confines of the 110th Precinct. An image of the suspect who sexually assaulted a woman at an Elmhurst hotel on July 15. The exact location of the hotel was not disclosed by the NYPD.
Police sources stated that the woman was assaulted in her room by the perpetrator, who was not known to her.
Members of the 110th Precinct responded to the scene shortly after the attack took place. The victim was brought to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect was last observed wearing a short-sleeved shirt with dark pants.
The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the 110th Precinct Detective Squad and the NYPD Queens Special Victims Squad, police said.
