Teen Gets Tasered by Home Invaders

Gunmen Sought For Kew Gdns. Robbery

Police are continuing to search for a group of armed men who forced their way inside a Kew Gardens home last Saturday morning, July 7, and repeatedly shocked a 17-year-old girl with a stun gun before leaving with valuables, it was reported.

According to law enforcement sources, the home invasion took place at around 3 a.m. last Saturday inside a location in the vicinity of Metropolitan Avenue and 118th Street.

Reportedly, the four perpetraby tors-described by NYPD sources as African-American males in their 20s who wore masks and were armed with a Taser gun and firearms- forced their way inside the residence by entering a locked rear door.

Upon entering the location, police said, the bandits confronted the 17- year-old girl and her father. During the robbery, it was reported, one of the bandits struck the female in the face, then fired his Taser gun at her three times.

Law enforcement sources said the crooks grabbed a large amount of cash from the residence as well as jewelry. They then fled from the scene inside the father’s Bentley in an unknown direction, it was reported.

Members of the 102nd Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. The 17-year-old girl was treated for injuries which were not life-threatening.

The case has been presented to the 102nd Precinct Detective Squad for further investigation.
