WHITESTONE — Three people were injured in an accident involving two vehicles at Francis Lewis Boulevard and 23rd Avenue in Whitestone Tuesday afternoon, a spokesman for the city Fire Department said.
All three people were taken to North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System following the crash, which was called in to the FDNY at about 4:15 p.m., according to fire officials.
The spokesman said the condition of the three people taken to the hospital was not available as of press time, and it was unclear whether all of the victims were inside the vehicles or on the street at the time of the crash.
