No injuries were reported after a one-alarm fire broke out inside a Glendale apartment house last Tuesday night, July 24, it was reported. According to Fire Department sources, the blaze broke out at around 9:30 p.m. on the second floor of a home on 74th Avenue near Woodhaven Boulevard. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 319, 305, 286 and 293; Ladder companies 143, 151 and 135; Squad Co. 288; Rescue 4 and Battalions 46 and 51-under the direction of Division 14-along with the 104th Precinct and EMS units. One hose line was used by firefighters to extinguish the blaze, FDNY sources said.
