The Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps (FHVAC) launched on July 21 their campaign to train the life-saving CPR technique to 200 members of the community with a training session at American Legion Continental Post 1424. As noted, the training is provided at no cost to the participants under the instruction of registered nurse and FHVAC paramedic Andrew S. Rotjan. The corps will be providing this free training for community and business people throughout the year and is seeking financial assistance from the public to help cover the cost. For more information or questions about donating, contact the FHVAC by phone at 1-718-793-2055 or by e-mail at info@fhvac.org.
