FOREST HILLS — According to the Queens district attorney, a Massachusetts resident was sentenced to 20 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the stabbing death of a Forest Hills man in June 2009.

The district attorney said Alexys Fermaintt, 34, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the death of Michael Pecora, of Forest Hills.

The DA said Fermaintt stabbed Pecora, 38, multiple times and then took his laptop, cellphone and watch before fleeing the apartment.

The two men allegedly met online, according to the DA.
