Reverend Monsignor James P. King P.A., of Douglaston, passed away on August 1.
Pastor Emeritus of St. Mel Parish, and Vicar General Emeritus, Diocese of Brooklyn.
Son of the late James and Margaret King. Brother of the late Joseph King.
Survived by his sister-in-law Mable King, his niece Barbara (Kevin) O’Connor, his nephews Thomas (Patricia) and David (Lynn) King and several grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by the Martin A. Gleason Funeral Home in Flushing. A funeral Mass was held at St. Mel R.C. Church. Interment was at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ozanam Hall would be appreciated.
