the Boys of Summer Back on the Diamond

Farmers Oval Little League members young and old reunited last Saturday, Aug. 18 for an Old Timers’ Game at Mafera Park in Ridgewood. The 20-team league began play in 1960 and ended in 1988. Former players reportedly traveled from across the country to participate. In the second row, wearing the Mets hat, is former head coach Wayne Mauro.
